Hudson Yards is a project on the far West Side of Manhatten by the Hudson river, rezoning the existing Western Rail Yard. It will consist of office, retail, residential, parks, open spaces, culture and entertainment areas. Phase one (pictured above) has started construction at the end of 2012.
The plan includes four super-tall towers (two office and two residential) of which the highest (North Tower) will cross the 400m mark and so make it one of the highest tower in the city. The building also features a public viewing platform. All towers feature a distinct design and the development, once completed, is set to make its mark on the New York skyline.
